About us
In the heart of the East Coast, nestled among the rolling hills of the Appalachian Mountains, our story begins. It was a life deeply rooted in the land, where nature’s rhythm set the pace. It was a place where the air was crisp, the people were warm, and the simplicity of life was a cherished gift.
But life often takes us on unexpected journeys. I found myself miles away from those humble beginnings in the capitol of Sacramento, California. After university, I worked with the State’s Environmental Protection Agency. I was passionate about helping the world in an era of a changing climate.
After several years and a pandemic later, I longed for the fresh air, the quietude of nature, and the rekindling of my love from my childhood. Inspired, I decided to start growing my own food, nurturing the very soil beneath my feet. As I leaned into my love for the land, it became apparent that another passion was brewing within me, one that would change my life for the better.
Tea, with its comforting warmth and timeless connection to nature, had always been a source of solace and a way to keep warm on those chilling winter days. I embarked on a journey to marry my love for tea with the principles of regenerative farming, weaving sustainability into every leaf and blossom.
And so, “The Wild Rose Collective” was born – an embodiment of my love for the wild, the warmth of community, and a cozy cup of tea. In August 2023, we opened our doors, not just as a tea shop but as a cozy haven where tea lovers, nature enthusiasts, and eco-conscious souls come together.
“The Wild Rose Collective” is not just a business; it’s a celebration of the authenticity of the wild and a commitment to fostering a community that shares our love for the earth. Join us on this journey as we sip sustainably and explore the beauty of the wild together.
